
Victor G. Hicks
Victor G. Hicks is the Founder and Lead Instructor of Coding with Culture, a computer science and STEM program dedicated to building a “Kindergarten through HBCU” pathway in computational and design thinking. With more than a decade of experience in teaching and curriculum design, Hicks is known for his innovative approach that merges culturally responsive pedagogy with cutting-edge technology education.
As a school board member and nonprofit trustee, he brings deep expertise in building community partnerships, supporting teacher professional development, and designing programs that expand access to STEM for Black and Brown students. Hicks is committed to empowering the next generation of innovators by ensuring that students see themselves, their history, and their culture reflected in the world of technology.
